Program Overview

The MSc Artificial Intelligence program at SCU is designed to equip students with

  • Select and apply advanced AI techniques creatively and innovatively to solve real-world problems, including those in unfamiliar or complex contexts.
  • Incorporate a critical ethical perspective in your practice, systematically addressing issues such as bias, transparency, privacy, and sustainability in AI development and application.
  • Apply, develop, and evaluate state-of-the-art AI tools and techniques consistent with current research and professional practices at the forefront of the discipline.
  • Design and undertake a substantial investigation in an AI-related area, selecting and applying appropriate methodologies while critically evaluating their effectiveness and limitations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate complex AI ideas and developments effectively, systematically, and professionally using a variety of communication media, including formal written reports, presentations, and oral discussions.
