Anuruddha Abeysinghe

I’m currently working as an Assistant Lecturer and reading for my Master’s degree in Software Engineering at the University of West London. I completed my BSc (Hons) in Information Technology at SLIIT Malabe Campus and am a professional member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL). With over four years of experience in academia and prior industry exposure at IFS R&D International, I have developed a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
At SCU, I serve as the Academic Coordinator while also managing the Career Guidance Unit. These roles allow me to contribute to both academic administration and student development, helping learners align their studies with future career goals. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring, and I strive to create meaningful learning experiences that bridge academic concepts with real-world applications.
My focus lies in software engineering and IT education, and I am continuously working to enhance my skills and knowledge to better support students and the academic community
